Packaged flour, milk and cheese will be expensive from July 18, GST on private beds in hospitals

नईदिल्लीलीक्स… जुलाई के महीने में महंगाई एक और झटका देने को तैयार है। महंगाई की यह मार 18 जुलाई से पड़ने वाली है।

जीएसटी काउंसिल ने घरेलू उपयोग की कई चीजों पर जीएसटी लगाने और कुछ चीजों पर जीएसटी दरों में इजाफा करने का फैसला लिया है। यह फैसला आगामी 18 जुलाई से प्रभाव में आना है, ऐसे में इस दिन से कुछ जरूरी सामान महंगे हो जाएंगे यह लगभग तय हो चुका है।

जीएसटी काउंसिल ने कुछ सामानों पर वर्तमान में मिल रही छूट को वापस लेने का का भी फैसला किया है। 18 जुलाई के बाद जिन चीजों पर महंगाई की तगड़ी मार पड़ने वाली है उनमें पैकेटबंद और लेबल लगा गेहूं का आटा, दुग्ध उत्पाद जैसे दूध, पनीर, छाछ, व दही आदि भी शामिल हैं। इनके अलावा अलग-अलग तरह के पापड़, मूढ़ी या मुरमुरे भी 18 जुलाई से महंगे हो जाएंगे।

चंडीगढ़ में केंद्रीय मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण की अध्यक्षता में बीते 28 व 29 जून को जीएसटी काउंसिल की बैठक हुई थी। काउंसिल की दो दिवसीय बैठक के बाद पत्रकारों से बातचीत में केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा था कि बैठक में जिन चीजों पर जीएसटी चार्ज किया जाता है उनके विभिन्न समूहों के दरों को युक्तिसंगत बनाने के लिए दिए गए कई सुझावों को स्वीकार कर लिया गया है। कई चीजों पर लगने वाली जीएसटी दरों में बदलाव किए गए हैं। वित्त मंत्री ने यह भी कहा था कि ये बदलाव 18 जुलाई से प्रभावी माने जाएंगे।
