सर्किट हाउस में बने गोल्फ कोर्स में पाइप लाइन डाली जानी थी। गुपचुप तरीके से बिना पाइप लाइन डाले ही आवास विकास के इंजीनियर ने भुगतान भी करा लिया। अब तीन साल बाद इस मामले की जानकारी मंडलायुक्त प्रदीप भटनागर को हुई। उन्होंने मामले की जांच संयुक्त आवास आयुक्त रेनू तिवारी से कराई गई। जांच में सामने आया है कि अधिशासी अभियंता एसके पचौरी ने पाइप लाइन डाले बिना ही आगरा क्लब के सचिव अजीत बोहरा के साथ मिलकर कार्य होने का प्रमाण पत्र लेकर 36 लाख का भुगतान करा लिया। इस मामले में आगरा क्लब के सचिव अजीत बोहरा को जो दूसरी बार सचिव बने हैं हटाने की संस्तुति मंडलायुक्त ने क्लब के अध्यक्ष विकास सेनी से की है।
पाइप लाइन डाले बिना ही 36 लाख का भुगतान कर दिया गया।
About golf course
1904 – The members of Agra club conceived the Golf Course in 1904. The course was first upgraded to a 12 holes course and again in 1915 to 18 holes course. It has its own irrigation system for the fairways and recently refurbished greens have been done up to USPGA standards. The Club house is equipped with modern amenities for golfers and a tastefully done up air conditioned restaurant and bar from the balcony of the house the Dome of the Taj Mahal is clearly visible.
Members – Presently the Club has about 1625 members which comprise of Army & Airforce officers (serving & retired), civil administration and civilian members. The President of the club is rotated with the tenure of one year between the Station commander (Army), Station Commander (Airforce Station) and Commissioner, Agra.
Management- There is a Annual General Meeting which votes for the Managing Committee and Ballotting committee which has 8 Directors each,the Honorary Secretary. Each member pays a monthly subscription as prescribed by the committee.
