Agra in smart city race: Municipal commissioner Indra Vikram Singh give presentation in Delhi

आगरालीक्स…… देश में स्मार्ट सिटी के लिए दूसरे चरण का काउंट डाउन शुरू हो चुका है। इसमें आगरा शामिल हो सकेगा या नहीं, इसके लिए आज दिल्ली में प्रजेंटेशन दिया जाएगा। आगरा के नगर आयुक्त इंद्र विक्रम सिंह दिल्ली में ताजनगरी के विकास की योजनाओं पर प्रजेंटेशन देंगे, यहां अन्य शहरों के नगर निगमों के नगर आयुक्त भी शामिल होंगे। इसमें शहरी विकास मंत्रालय के अधिकारी मौजूद रहेंगे। इस प्रजेंटेशन के आधार पर आगे की रुपरेखा तैयार होगी।

देश से चुने गए 13 फास्ट ट्रैक स्मार्ट सिटी
देश के नए 13 फास्ट ट्रैक स्मार्ट सिटी की घोषणा कर दी गई है। इसमें यूपी के लखनऊ सहित 13 शहर के नामों की घोषणा की गई है, इसके लिए 23 शहरों ने दावेदारी पेश की थी। इसके बाद स्मार्ट सिटी के दूसरे चरण के शहरों के नामों की घोषणा होनी है, पहले चरण में स्थान न बना पाने पर आगरा द्वारा पूरी तैयारी के साथ दूसरे चरण के लिए दावेदारी की जा रही है।
23 शहरों ने फास्ट ट्रैक स्मार्ट सिटी की दावेदारी पेश की थी। उच्च रैंकिंग वाले 23 राज्य एवं केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों के 23 शहरों ने ‘फास्ट ट्रैक कम्प्टीशन’ में हिस्सा लिया जिन्हें गत जनवरी में पहले दौर की प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिनिधित्व नहीं मिल पाया था।
इन शहरों ने किया क्वालीफाई
लखनऊ, वारंगल, चंडीगढ़ रायपुर, भागलपुर, इंफाल, पोर्ट ब्लेयर, पणजी, रांची, अगरतला, धर्मशाला, न्यू टाउन कोलकाता और फरीदाबाद।
100 शहर बनने हैं स्मार्ट सिटी
केंद्र सरकार ने देश के 100 शहरों को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने की घोषणा की थी। 28 जनवरी को घोषित ‘स्मार्ट सिटी चैलेंज कम्प्टीशन’ में 20 स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन शहरों की सूची में मात्र 12 राज्य एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को प्रतिनिधित्व मिल पाया था।
इस योजना के तहत दूसरे चरण में 23 शहरों की दावेदारी में से 13 के नामों का ऐलान कर दिया गया। अगले दो सालों में इस योजना के तहत 40-40 शहरों का चयन रैंकिंग के आधार पर होगा। फास्ट ट्रैक कंपटीशन के जरिए सभी शहरों को अपनी रैकिंग सुधारने का मौका दिया जा रहा है। इसमें आगरा भी दावेदारी कर रहा है, इसके लिए एक एजेंसी से करार किया गया है, यह शहर की प्लानिंग तैयार कर रही है।
स्मार्ट सिटी के लिए चुने गए हर शहर को पहले साल 200 और उसके बाद चार साल के लिए हर साल 100 करोड़ रुपये मिलेंगे। केंद्र सरकार इस प्रोजेक्ट पर अगले पांच साल में 48 हजार करोड़ रुपये खर्च करेगी और इतनी ही रकम राज्य मिलकर खर्च करेंगे।
