Since 2016, large projects including hotels and hospitals in Agra were banned due to Taj Trapezium Zone, which was set up to save the Tajmahal from pollution.
The central pollution control board has Incorporated the airport, airstrip and automobile sector into the infrastructure along with the hospitals, hotels and projects over 20000 square meters construction.
Previously they were in the category of industry.
Since they were included in the category of industry, so hotels and hospitals were banned due to pollution.
Construction of airport in Agra could not even begin.
But now the CBCP has included all of them in a new infrastructure category.
With this projects stuck in the middle in Agra will be started.
Infrastructure will increase, New jobs will also be available.
Employment projects will increase here too.
It is also a big achievement for Agra.
New hotels and hospitals in Agra were not be able to open since last 4 years.
