आगरालीक्स आगरा में जोमैटो धूम मचा रहा है, डिलीवरी एग्जीक्यूटिव द्वारा पैकेट से निकालकर खाना खाने का वीडियो सामने आने के बाद जोमैटो ने एग्जीक्यूटिव को हटा दिया है, साथ ही जोमैटो ने जल्द ही टेम्पर प्रूफ टेप से खाने को पैक कराकर सप्लाई
करने का दावा किया है।
सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ था, इसमें जोमैटो का बैग और ड्रेस पहने युवक एक्टिवा पर बैठा है। वह बैग से एक के बाद एक तीन पैकेट निकालता है, उसकी पैकिंग खोलने के बाद खाना खाता है। थोडा थोडा खाना तीनों पैकेट में से खाने के बाद उसे पैक करने के बाद बैग में रख देता है, इसके बाद चला जाता है। यह वीडियो वायरल होने से जोमैटो की शाक पर सवाल उठने लगे थे। सोशल मीडिया पर तमाम तरह के कमेंट आ रहे थे।
एग्जीक्यूटिव को निकाला
यह वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद जोमैटो ने अपने फूड टेम्परिंग ब्लॉग पर लिखा है कि पिछली रात एक वीडियो देखने को मिला, इसमें जोमैटो टी शर्ट पहने और जोमैटा का डिलीवरी बैग लिए हुए डिलीवरी एग्जीक्यूटिव खाने के बॉक्स की पैकिंग खोलकर खाना खा रहा है, इसके बाद उसकी री पैकिंग कर रहा है। इसे हमने गंभीरता से लेते हुए जांच की।
मदुरई का निकला वीडियो
जोमैटो ने अपने ब्लॉग में आगे लिखा है कि यह वीडियो मदुरई में शूट किया गया है, वह जोमैटो का डिलीवरी पार्टनर था, उससे लंबी पूछताछ में सामने आया है कि बॉक्स खोलकर खाना खाने के बाद उसे री पैक करना मानवीय भूल थी, उसे जोमैटो ने अपने प्लेटफॉर्म से हटा दिया है।
जोमैटो ने अपने ब्लॉग पर लिखा
Last night, we came across a video of a delivery executive in a Zomato t-shirt, carrying a Zomato delivery bag, eating food out of boxed orders and replacing each one after resealing them, back into the delivery bag. The video suggests that he consumed some of the food meant for delivery to users, on his way to the drop points.
We want our users, restaurant partners and all stakeholders to know that –
- We take these kinds of reports extremely seriously and upon thorough investigation, we’ve found that the video was shot in Madurai. The person in the video happened to be a delivery partner on our fleet. We have spoken to him at length – and while we understand that this was a human error in judgement, we have taken him off our platform.
- We would like to iterate that given our multiple communication channels with users, who expect the highest standards from Zomato and highlight the smallest of deviations to us as soon as they receive their orders, this is highly unusual and a rare case.
