आगरालीक्स …आगरा क्लब में पूर्व शिक्षा मंत्री को गेट पर रोक लिया, उन्हें प्रवेश नहीं दिया गया, उन्होंने फोन मिलाया और लौट गए, क्योंकि वे कुर्ता पायजामा पहने थे। आगरा क्लब के स्टाफ ने उनकी एक दलील नहीं सुनी और प्रवेश देने से इन्कार कर दिया। इस पर उन्होंने कुर्ता पायजामा को भारतीय संस्क्रति से जोडते हुए प्रवेश न देने पर आपत्ति की, यहां तक कह दिया कि यह भारतीय संस्क्रति का अपमान है। मगर, उन्हें प्रवेश नहीं दिया गया।
आगरा क्लब में शुक्रवार को इंजीनियर आरकेएस राघव का विदाई समारोह था, इसमें पूर्व शिक्षा मंत्री व कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता क्रष्णवीर सिंह कौशल को भी आमंत्रित किया गया था। रात साढे नौ बजे वे अपने बेटे आईएमए, आगरा के सदस्य डॉ यज्ञेश कौशल के साथ आगरा क्लब पहुंचे। गेट पर स्टाफ ने उन्हें रोक दिया, इस पर उन्होंने कहा कि समारोह में आमंत्रित किया गया है, इसलिए आए हैं। इस पर स्टाफ ने उनके कुर्ता पायजामा में होने से प्रवेश देने में असमर्थता जताई, स्टापफ ने ड्रेस कोड के सख्त नियमों का हवाला देते हुए प्रवेश देने से इन्कार कर दिया। इसे लेकर कुछ देर तक पूर्व मंत्री ने दलील दी, लेकिन स्टाफ ने उन्हें प्रवेश नहीं दिया और वे लौट गए।

इसलिए नहीं दिया प्रवेश
ब्रिटिश हुकूमत के दौरान आगरा क्लब 1863 में स्थापित किया गया, यह कंपनी एक्ट में रजिस्टर्ड है। इसके सदस्य सेना के अधिकारी, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी और शहर के प्रतिष्ठित लोग होते हैं, सदस्य के 1625 सदस्य हैं। यह 32 एकड में बना हुआ है। क्लब के सख्त नियम हैं। इसमें ड्रेस कोड भी है। इसके तहत कुर्ता पायजामा और धोती व चप्पल में क्लब में प्रवेश पर रोक है। इसके साथ ही पोलो नेक टी शर्ट पहनकर जाने पर प्रवेश नहीं दिया जाता है। 10 साल तक के उम्र के बच्चे ही पोलो नेक टी शर्ट पहन सकते हैं।
सात बजे के बाद शॉर्ट में एंट्री नहीं
आगरा क्लब में रात को पार्टी होती हैं। क्लब का नियम है कि रात सात बजे के बाद शॉर्ट पहन आने वाले लोगों को एंट्री नहीं दी जाएगी। क्लब की वेबसाइट पर इंस्ट्रक्शन फॉर मेंबर्स में इसका उल्लेख है, इसमें यह भी लिखा गया है कि आप पार्टी आयोजित करते हैं तो ड्रेस कोड के बारे में अपने महमानों को बता दें, जिससे उन्हें पार्टी में प्रवेश से रोकने पर मायूस ना होना पडे।
