J&K CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed passes away at AIIMS Delhi

आगरालीक्स …जम्मू-कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री मुफ्ती मोहम्मद सईद का निधन हो गया है। वे 79 साल के थे और पिछले कई दिनों से वेंटिलेटर पर थे सुबह 8 बजे उन्होंने एम्स में आखिरी सांसें ली। उन्हें 24 दिसंबर को दिल्ली के एम्स में भर्ती कराया गया था।
मुफ्ती मोहम्मद सईद पिछले साल ही जम्मू-कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री बने थे। भाजपा के साथ मिलकर उन्होंने पिछले साल ही जम्मू-कश्मीर की सरकार बनाई थी। जिसमें उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री चुना गया जबकि भाजपा को उपमुख्यमंत्री का पद दिया गया।
मुफ्ती मोहम्मद सईद के बहुत ही कम उम्र में राजनीति में आ गए थे। 1987 तक वो कांग्रेस में थे। देश के पहले मुस्लिम गृहमंत्री के तौर पर भी उन्हें चुना गया।जम्मू कश्मीर में मुख्यमंत्री मुफ्ती मोहम्मद सईद के निधन के बाद उनकी बेटी और सांसद महबूबा मुफ्ती राज्य की नई मुख्यमंत्री बनेंगी। हालांकि इस पर अभी औपचारिक ऐलान बाकी है। सत्तारूढ़ पीडीपी और सहयोगी पार्टी भाजपा के बीच महबूबा को मुख्यमंत्री बनाने की कवायद चल रही है।
