Rail neer corruption scam, Ex student of ST. John’s College Agra arrested

आगरालीक्स …..आगरा के दिल्ली गेट पर रहने वाले रेलवे अधिकारी संदीप साइलस को करोडों के रेल नील घोटाले में हिरासत में लिया गया है। राजधानी, शताब्दी सहित अन्य ट्रेनों में रेल नीर की जगह यात्रियों को बाजार से खरीदी गई सस्ती पानी की बोतल उपलब्ध कराई गई, सीबीआई ने छापे में ट्रेनों में रेल नीर आपूर्ति करने वाली आरके एसोसिएट के मालिक शरन बिहारी अग्रवाल और उनके बेटे अभिषेक और राहुल अग्रवाल के घर से 27 करोड की नगदी जब्त की है। इस मामले में आरके एसोसिएट के खिलाफ कार्रवाई न करने पर 1984 बैच के आईआरटीएस अधिकारी मूल रूप से आगरा निवासी संदीप साइलस और 1987 बैच के एमएस चालिया को हिरासत में लिया गया है।
संदीप साइलस मूल रूप से आगरा के दिल्ली गेट पर होली पब्लिक स्कूल के पास के रहने वाले हैं। उन्होंने सेंट जोंस कॉलेज से एमए (मनोविज्ञान) किया है। उनके पिता सेंट इस्टूअर्ड मिशन पब्लिक स्कूल, सिकंदरा में प्रिंसिपल थे और मां डी साइलस क्वीन विक्टोरिया की प्रिंसिपल रही हैं। आगरा में दिल्ली गेट पर उनकी कई दुकानें हैं और प्रोपर्टी हैं।
साइलस परिवार का बडा नाम
आगरा में साइलस परिवार का बडा नाम है। क्रिश्चिन कम्युनिटी में उनकी अच्छी दखल थी। इसके लिए वे कई सालों तक सिकंदरा के सेंट इस्टूअर्ड मिशन स्कूल में प्रिंसिपल रहे और उनकी मां डी साइलस भी सालों तक क्वीन विक्टोरिया की प्रिंसिपल रही हैं।
क्लासमेट से की शादी
सेंट जोंस कॉलेज से एमए करने के कुछ दिन बाद उनका आईआरटीएस में चयन हो गया। इसके बाद उन्होंने क्लासमेट से शादी कर ली, वे भी आईएएस की तैयारी कर रही थी।
मुंबई में रहे डीआरएम
संदीप साइलस मुंबई रेलवे मंडल में डीआरएम के पद पर रहे हैं। साइलस और चालिया रेलवे में चीफ कॉमर्शियल मैनेजर के पद पर हैं।

ये है मामला
राजधानी, शताब्दी सहित अन्य ट्रेनों में यात्रियों को रेल नीर दिया जाना चाहिए, यह रेल नीर प्राइवेट कंपनी को 10 30 रुपये में आइआरटीसीटी से दिया जाना था और यात्रियों को 15 रुपये में रेल नीर की पानी की बोतल सप्लाई करनी थी। आरके एसोसिएटस सहित अन्य कंपनियों ने बाजार में 5 से 7 रुपये में पानी की बोतल लेकर यात्रियों को 15 रुपये में बेच दी, इस तरह एक बोतल में सात से आठ रुपये की मोटी कमाई की, आइआरसीटीसी ने इसकी शिकायत चीपफ कॉमर्शिलय अधिकारी साइलस और चालिया से की, उन्होंने कोई एक्शन नहीं लिया। सीबीआई ने जांच की, इसके बाद छापे मारे तो आरके एसोसिएटस के मालिक शरन बिहारी अग्रवाल और उनके बेटे अभिषेक और राहुल अग्रवाल के घर से 27 करोड की नगदी जब्त की है।
